“You have a fantastic theoretical knowledge about psychology and human behaviour which transpires in everything you bring to the course. You could be considered as a teacher as you bring clarity to concepts that we all find quite confusing at the best of times but there are other dimensions to what you do…there is definitely an amazing predisposition to listen and facilitate. You could be seen as a counsellor as you guide people with problem solving and towards a better understanding of their behaviours. Moreover, I would see you as an ‘empowerer” If there was such a word… The way you combine teaching and counselling, using your own intuition and tailoring the content of what you want to teach to the very real needs of each individual person, is really quite unique. There’s kind of an element of life coaching in the mix as you are definitely helping us reach some goals…
As for a job title?.. blimey.. Wonder Woman?! seriously I wonder if there is such a title that would encompass all these facets? “

“Having worked with Giselle on several occasions I can’t recommend her approach and style enough! Every business would benefit greatly from working with her. Change is hard and people find it stressful, having someone to help alleviate that stress and give staff strategies to support themselves is invaluable and makes a tremendous difference not just in the moment but on an ongoing basis. Giselle’s approach works at every level from top to bottom, and her delivery style is engaging and motivating. I will continue to bring her services into every organisation I work with, such is the impact she has had.“

“Mindfulness session provided me with some useful tips on how to get a little bit of time for myself away from the pressure’s that we face at work.
I liked the info sheet she gave as its sometimes useful to look back on these tips. Will be sharing with my own staff members to help them potentially tackle their own stressful situations and how to tackle it.”

“I found the session very useful indeed. I believe that a lot of staff are in an almost permanent state of stress and we don’t always recognise it nor do we treat it seriously enough. I feel that there was information that would be helpful for everyone depending on their own circumstances and the notes are useful as a reminder of that. I am grateful to Giselle for spending the time with us.”
Title: Accountant
“I have had the opportunity to attend Giselle‘s mindfulness and wellbeing sessions, some in group, some on a 121 basis. The classes and the documentation were very interesting, uplifting and so enjoyable. Giselle made us feel welcome and was able to adapt to all our needs. The classes were interactive and Giselle was able to bring something positive to each of us. She introduced us to concepts that are very useful on a daily basis and help us to deal with the challenges that life might throw at us. Giselle is a very good listener, non judgemental so I felt at ease to express my feelings whether in group or in a 121 session. She is also a caring, positive and inspiring practitioner and through her approach was able to guide me to create positive changes in my life. I am so grateful and I would highly recommend her sessions.”
Title: Paramedic
“I started seeing Giselle following the sudden breakup of my marriage. I felt overwhelmed by the prospect of managing to have a happy life with two very young children; work; a mortgage I was now struggling to manage or risk losing our home. I was in free fall and felt utterly powerless to stay in control of day to day life.
However, Giselle helped me to identify that I have a natural affinity for imagery and analogies. Using these she helped me to overcome the challenges I was facing.
Together, Giselle helped me face the stress blocks that were preventing me eating; thinking and talking out my stress and ultimately prevented me from being well.
I have come away with a growing box of strategies tailored to the way I think and function.
I have had trials and tribulations since then. I have had top up sessions, but each time I have emerged stronger and more able to be less overwhelmed and to figure it out myself.
It’s been an incredible and empowering journey. It’s helped me nurture myself and be strong for my children. Time is a healer and the time I spent with Giselle was the best investment of my time.”

Having tried other treatments with no real results, I contacted in desperation Giselle. Very quickly Giselle identified the issue, went to work and produced immediate results and over time I continued to see Giselle as a mean of reassurance and to dig deep into the issue. Giselle was so effective in her method, professionalism that today I am cured of the issue and am very relaxed, confident and excited to take to the skies.
This would not have been possible without Giselle and her techniques. I would recommend to anybody who experience anxiety attacks and related issues like fear of flying to contact Giselle.”

I found the mindfulness session which Giselle ran really helpful and insightful. It was interesting to hear the physiological reasons behind stress and gain greater understanding of the cumulative effect stress can have on an individual. I found the techniques shown for dealing with stressful work situations useful and I’m sure they will be of benefit in the future. It was good to engage with other staff and have a group discussion on topic of mindfulness. I found it positive taking the time to identify daily stressors, the effect this stress can have and be shown ways to effectively deal with this, as well as reflecting on ways to practise mindfulness in daily life.
Title: Senior Management
Organisation type: Public Sector
As a senior manager in the public sector, I had a couple of bad experiences of speaking in public which made me hate having to talk to audiences of more than a handful of people. It got to the point where I would dread any significant presentation for weeks in advance, causing huge stress which impacted on my personal life, my self-esteem and my view of my job. I felt I could not progress my career further or be taken seriously at work and this caused such anxiety that when I was called on to speak, I often performed poorly or kept it as short as possible, leading to a negative and damaging cycle where I fulfilled my own doom-laden prophecy!
Giselle helped me to get to the root of my anxieties and to deal with the causes. Her support had an immediate impact – I came out of our very first session feeling much more positive – and that feeling very quickly helped me to perform much better in situations I would previously have found highly stressful.
A few short sessions had a transformative effect: my phobia of public speaking disappeared and I became much better at managing anxiety in general. Giselle helped me to recognise when I was getting (or likely to get) stressed and to prepare a lot better for potentially challenging situations, rather than simply wishing they wouldn’t happen. She also helped me to understand that the problem was largely in my own mind, that the stress and anxiety were of my own making and could be controlled and managed to my benefit.
When we first met, Giselle asked me what would be the best I could achieve in terms of public speaking. I told her that I wanted to be confident enough to speak at large national events and conferences. At the time, this felt like an unthinkable pipe dream: within a very short period of time, I was actually achieving it.
Giselle has a lovely, positive and empathetic manner and an ability to help people get things in perspective. My experience was that working with her and following her advice helped to bring out my very best and to remove the biggest anxiety in my working life. The contrast with ‘before’ and ‘after’ working with Giselle was remarkable for me.

Over the past few years, Giselle has supported our school in our mental well-being project. The parent workshop on helping a worried child and the staff INSET on mental well-being were full of great advice and techniques for parents and school staff. The children really enjoyed learning tips and strategies for mindfulness and relaxation, which they use at home and school. Giselle has a wealth of knowledge and a lovely way with both children and adults.
