A five week breathwork and somatic course in Kingston for people who feel exhausted but wired. A small group of three, Wednesdays from 9th September.

You reach the end of the day exhausted, but your mind still won't switch off.

You lie awake replaying today, anticipating tomorrow, or looping through nothing in particular. Perhaps you snapped at someone you love and are still turning it over, wondering why your reaction felt so much bigger than the moment itself.

Most of us are never taught that there is a gap between what happens to us and how our body responds. Over time, that gap can quietly close, so a small moment lands like a big one, and the stress of one day carries straight into the next.

Inside that gap, your body is already communicating with you: a tightening, a held breath, a flicker of unease before you have worked out why. When you learn to notice these signals earlier, you can respond before they become a snap, a shutdown, or a sleepless night. The shift does not come from trying harder to stay calm; it comes from hearing what is happening soon enough to meet it differently.

Breathwork, together with creating softness in the body, is one of the few ways back into that gap. It is not a quick fix, but a genuine, learnable skill: something your body can remember and practise over time.

Over five weeks, in a small group of just three, we will explore that gap together through your real life: your week, your sleep, and your reactions. You will leave each session with something to notice and practical tools to use, so that by the final week you have a felt sense of what it is like to have space between what happens and how you meet it.

There are only three spaces, so the work can stay personal, attentive, and grounded in what is actually happening for you.

What the Five Weeks Include

We meet once a week for five weeks, for ninety minutes each time, in a small group of just three people. Each session introduces three new breathing practices, supported by somatic movement to help the learning settle into the body as well as the mind. We close with guided relaxation, so you leave feeling softer rather than stirred up by the work itself.

Week one begins with noticing your own breath: what it is doing right now, often for the first time in years. From there, we look at what is happening underneath your reactions, why your body responds as it does, and how to work with that response rather than against it. The middle weeks focus on finding steadiness day to day. Toward the end, we turn to sleep and then to rebuilding real energy: not the wired kind, but the kind that lasts.

Because the group is so small, the sessions can move at the pace that is right for you, rather than following a fixed script everyone has to fit around.

You will also take audio meditations home, so the practice does not stay in the room. A few minutes in the evening, or whenever your body asks for it, helps you carry the work with you between sessions.

Between Sessions

The week does not end when the session does. Between sessions, you will have a space to check in, ask questions, share what has come up, or name a hard day or a small win. Five weeks can hold a lot of change when there is somewhere for that change to land.

What You Will Take Away

By the end, this is not just a set of techniques you have collected. You will have begun learning to read your own signals, recognise what you need in the moment, and support yourself with a breath, a pause, or simply by naming what is happening. That is the real shift: not depending on the sessions to feel okay, but carrying the ability to support yourself long after the five weeks are complete.
